We now have a "cafepress" store online where you can purchase HTM and SBD items. I have been working with Frogger and Sassy to put this store together. I kept the cost $1 above the base price to keep prices low for anyone wishing to purchase items. The reason for the $1 markup is to help cover the cost of the store itself and to subsidize our hosted servers. There is no obligation what so ever to purchase anything here...I just thought it would be fun to make them available.

This store has actually been up for 2 weeks now, but I waited to release it until merchandise I ordered came in so that I could inspect the quality. I must say I was pleased. I ordered a t-shirt, a mug and the "tiled box" all of which were top quality.

If anyone has any ideas on how to improve anything there, let me know. Just remember this is a "kid friendly" site. ( yes kids like thongs)

I may need to pull the poster/prints due to the graphics I sent being too low resolution. the poster requires 5250 x 3450 and I'm afraid the logo will get distorted enlarged that much.....

Hey Kruel, just wanted to say, good job on the SBD design man! I didn't know that was you. I made one for you guys later, but ah, just a little too late, oh well ;)

Just because I love the colors on it. It's so vibrant! And it was, conincidentally, the hardest one.

Also, I showed a friend of mine who barely plays UT, the graphics I did, and he said "damn, i don't even play UT that much, but i think I'm gonna have to get one.."

Not too sure what else i'm gonna do. If people have ideas, they should pitch them along! I enjoy doing these, and it's great Photoshop practice.

can you put SBD logo on white background?

The store (for whatever reason) offers no black shirts :(

i know they don't. thats my major gripe with cafepress, actually. they have NO dark colors. It's a printing issue. black is pretty hard to print on, especially with the methods they use.

I CAN put it on white, but it loses much of it's power, instantly. the contrast is eradicated, and there are all sorts ofother problems that crop up.

At the moment, i'm waiting on responses from SBD about what they want to do with it. Goatboy wanted a blue one for the site, but Xtreem is totally sold on a black shirt/sweate/hoodie. Not sure, but I'll see what happens over the next few days.

Printing on black has been something i have been looking to do for a LONG time. So if anyone can find a place that does a good job, i am so there.

I may have found a place that will do any color of shirt. I'll know tomorrow for sure. This place looks better than cafe press and I may have to make a move, as I prefer the darker shirts as well. I'll keep you informed.

But they require minimum orders of 24 on shirts :?

I'll keep looking, there's got to be a place out there that will make them as they are ordered like cafe press does. :roll:

What is that place, anyway? If they do Photo printing, i might be inclined to go with them myself.

By the way, this is the place that I used to make my own shirts, but they do silk screen printing, not photo, so you cant have crazy detail. It ends up being very simple- but good logos.

The trick with them is, you can order a minimum of four.. BUT, that costs you about 30 bucks a shirt. The more you order, the cheaper it gets. I ordered about 60 of them 2 years ago for xmas presents, and that ended up running me about 10 bucks a shirt, but of course overall I had to drop a good $1000 or so. With shipping, and all that.

But yeah keep on the hunt, It's hard man, i tell ya.. I looked for WEEKS and design-a-shirt was the best I came up with >.<

It says they do silk screening, but their methods are way more complex than I've seen for that. Maybe they're just really damn good..

Either way, thats very intriguing. I'll have to research these guys and check it out more. If they require a single customer to order 24 shirts.. thats pretty insane. But I could order them, and sell it right out of my house, sorta like what i did before.. except last time I gave them away for free =P

But thanks! This is worth looking into, just because their silk screen quality is way up there.
