Well, you have to ask yourself this question: What would George do if the situation was reversed? Do you think he'd risk his ass to save yours?

Answer: Only if there was a third person with a camera.

And BTW, I'm completely bipartisan. Kerry or even the Kennedy's for that matter, would be the same. Politicians are no different than rockstars or actors or anyone so single-mindedly seeking the spotlight - they're in it for themselves. Don't let them fool you into thinking they are there to "serve the people" or anything so selfless. They're there for the personal glory and enrichment no matter how much they may profess otherwise.

And I'm not really as cynical as that sounds. On a personal level I'm generally a very upbeat and hopeful person - even knowing that the prospects of "getting out alive" are hopeless (we're ALL wormfood in the end). On a global and political level I don't think the prognosis is very good doctor. To paraphrase George Carlin, "one day the earth is going to shuck us off like a bad dream." I personally believe that microbes own the planet (did you know there are 5 times more microbes, by mass, than humans, by mass). And we're only here by their good graces. Enjoy the ride. It's short, but try to make it sweet! That's my motto.

Here's a thought to leave you with: Did you know that ALL of Yellowstone National Park is a volcanic caldera. I mean the WHOLE fricking thing! Geologists only figured this out recently. They couldn't find the local caldera (which is the magma chamber under a volcano), until one of them looked at some recent satellite shots and realized it was under the entire park. It's what they call a Supervolcano. By the current accepted calculations it's gone off a couple times in earths history - with disasterous results of course; for the entire planet - about every 600,000 years. The last time was around 650,000 years ago. Guess it's overdue. hehheh

Its funny you put it that way. I couldn't agree more about politicians in general. Most of you already know, but I was a political consultant for 7 years until I quit my firm and started doing home investing (working for myself is better and politics is really for the young, single and those with very high alcohol tolerance).

Occassionally, I would work for politicians who were natural-born altruistic leaders. They really cared and did it solely to make a difference for people. But then there were the majority I worked for.... those with tremendous insecurities... only squashed by the cameras, lights and hundreds of people who said they "loved" them. They are very much like hollywood actors.... self-centered, self-absored and incredibly insecure. This is why most of them sleep around (yes, its true... I've seen it... well.... not SEEN it... but you know what I mean) and are alcoholics.

I worked for Democrats, but this is true on both sides of the aisle. We would joke that Democratic politicians would drink before they spoke about alcohol treatment programs and Republicans would write their best speeches on sexual morality while in bed with another mistress.

Sad, but true, that our local, state and national leaders are those with the lowest self-esteem I have ever seen.

Anway... take that for what its worth.

YD I totally see your point however I will most def have to agree with you... I work with the gov who i find to be VERY VERY self centered and I find myself shaking my head in just total shame .. lmao I mean she the governor and all but she does things sometimes just to make HERSELF look better and thats it! Its kind of annoying when there are people who ACTUALLY want to get things done..lol but yeah anyhow, I agree all these people who want that spot light have very low self esteeem.. however, anyone who knows what they are doing or anyone who actually cares is not selfish enough to try and take that away from the politicians we have running our offices today.. how sad is that. I sure wish some of these people who ACTUALLY get stuff done would run for gov and sherrif and such .. but we'll see in the future elections what happens.. I hope something changes here but our next election for govs in az will be hard as well.. two self centered arse holios runnin for gov ..hmmm whos worse?? i dunno they about the same lmao... anyhow yeah so I totally agree with you yellow doggie! i hate politics but I do believe I stuck myself into it and now I wait .. good news tho az's cps reformery IS ACTUALLY GOING SOMEWHERE! you guys should check it out.. its cool!
So even tho the gov is very selfish.. at least she does get some things done... hehe

ok well cya in game and bub byes for now hugs
the ole cutie!
