I use a Logitech 518 mouse, it's great once I turned off the sensitivity adjustments on each side of the scrollwheel. :)

Keyboard...I recommend something comfy and cheap because they seem to die early under all the gaming abuse. I'm assuming everyone throws temper tantrums like I do and smashes thier keyboard on the floor. Just kidding...I use a usb logitech.

A lot of guys are using a Belkin Nostromo instead of thier keyboard for gaming..it's usb and programable. It also helps your keyboard last longer. :)

I am wonering if there a keyboards that transfer or register data faster than others or maybe there are keyboards that have shorter buttons .im just wondering what the best keyboard is for gaming?maybe the keyboards each have different reaction times?

well..usb keyboards should have faster reation time than a wireless...but I never heard of a keyboard that was "faster" than any other one. The Nostromo allows macro commands...that would be faster ;)

I have been using this one since December. Very comfortable and the back lite keys are nice if you like to play in a pitch black room. :)
