may i ask what a cache is? i really dont know much a bout computers, just playing UT really? i just learned what a thread is :roll: lol

ut2004/cache...this is where all the files live that you download when you join a server. Default setting is that after 30 days the files are deleted...thus you hav eto download map 'X' again. cache reaping makes these files permanent

Any content a server pushes that is not included in the stock game you load on your pc is considered "cache".
