what version of direct X is on the laptop? Did you run the setup or simply copy the folder between machines?

My laptop uses a wireless mouse too, but I also carry a corded one as well as a full size keyboard now for gaming (if I ever find a decent ping out there).

Instead of caring the Full KB you should look at getting a Nostromo N52 or something similar. ;)

It would be smaller at least and you can still chat on the builtin KB.

Meh @ nostromo. That thing is too specialized, you go to a lan center and it's rare that they have those. PC gaming = KB and mouse. Use the wolfking warrior, its small, cheap and very comfy for your hand. It could even be ambidextrous. I use the full KB version called the timberwolf, its good too but very big.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I wish I could use one. The problem with a game pad like that is I can't seem to keep my fingers grouped tight enough to use one, hence I use directional arrow keys on the full size board. :(

Dude Minion I'm tellin' ya get a wolfking warrior or timber wolf. The WASD keys are bigger for your fat fingers and aligned like the arrow keys. Warrior is $30 and timber is $50.
