Red's latest FVR update

Yes, Fox is just as shocked as most people. Indeed, FVR is still moving along, and so i have an update on it! I know it's been awhile, but yes.. it's stiiiilll going.
And if you saw this on CR or elsewhere.. please forgive me.. it's late and I don't really wanna retype posts over and over.. ;-)

Now for you that don't know what this is.. it's a short film project of mine. Basically a fake videogame, where two characters will battle it out.

I've been working on it on and off for about a year. Total time though, honestly, more like 4 or 5 months. And I want to note that the model isn't mine! Thats done by a friend of mine who is just a great modeler. The character is mine however, as is the texturing job. And the expression (morph targets) and soon to be animation. In fact, i will probably start animating a bit over this weekend. So i might have some more cool stuff to show soon. But, many folks at CR have been following this project for a long time now.. So i wanted to let you know about the update and show a few :D

The final will not have a row of "Red's". Thats just temp stand in. Also, those models shown are the old ones. The Fox model is from my college days (when *I* made it) and the Red is my UT model. The final won't have those.

naaaaaah. it's a fighting game. but not a real one. It's a movie thats designed to look like a fighting game. but hey, if i fooled you already, thats one mission accomplished :-D

What's with the blue scales though? Red would seem to be more "dragon-like".

Thanks Kruel! He's gotta have white eyes though, thats a key character trait :wink:

Blue scales is actually a funny story. See, originally, he was black with a grey underbelly and yellow claws and spikes. This is what has now been made his "evil side". Since Fox is an RP character of mine, he's changed alot from outside influences. One of the changes was a friend making him the blue colors and such because they felt the black look was too intimidating. I went with it, and so his main look became blue.

Now it's funny because FVR is basically like Blue Vs Red. Which is classic in games =D

And Red being Dragon, huh? ::laughs:: Thats funny man :lol:
She's definitely a bird. Her wings are her hands. She's just extremely stylized :wink:
