Trying to get server up

Been trying to get a server running on one of my machines.Having trouble with the server beacon,failed to load.IpDrv. UdpBeacon.All fresh install.Any ideas?

Are you using the dedicated server files Freak? Or are you launching from the ingame gui?

I really need to see the log. Look in System folder.."ucc.log" post it here or send to "minion@h-townmadness.com".

You do have all the ports open on your router right? I don't think that would set the error you describe, but it's a common problem with home servers.

The default ports are:

Port Type Description
7777 UDP/IP (Game Port)
7778 UDP/IP (Query Port)
7787 UDP/IP (GameSpy Query Port)
28902 TCP/IP (Allows your Server to Connect to the UT2004 Master Server Browser)
xxxx TCP/IP (Port set via ListenPort that your WebAdmin will run on)

I can get it to show up in the master server,but as n/a. It also come up on lan and works there.

So...the ports have been forwarded on the router or not? That sounds like the communication port (28902) is blocked.
