I installed Windows 7 64bit, installed ut2004 i tryed useing the 64 bit patch and it would not let me install it. so i got the 32 bit patch installed it and put the 64 exe in the ut2004 system folder. I loaded the game everything seemed to work correctly but then i go to make my custom crosshair.. Cross 5, It's missing! I have a choice between circle 3, hidden and 2 other crosshairs.. i clearly remember there being a list of 15 or more in that list... I am now stuck with only 4 crosshairs.

Also note that you do not need the 64-bit patch to play on a 64-bit system. The 32-bit executable that is included with the game will run just fine, in fact, I have had less issues with the 32-bit .exe vs. the 64-bit one. Now I just run the 32-bit exclusively.

Thank you for the link freak.
I think i tryed the 32 bit and it did not want to run. it kept asking for the disk after installing the new patch. i put the 64 bit one in and the game loaded fine.
I might just reinstall it.

I installed the 64bit exe only to go back to the 32bit & it works fine on Win7 Ultimate 64bit RC. 64bit exe seems to have glitches,at least on my machine.I also have the retail version running on a 34gig raptor which after installing win7 really doesn't have enough room left to install 2k4 with all the files.I'm also still running xp pro on my 2 150 gig raptors in raid which still seems to do the best job running 2k4.I think I'm keeping xp where it's at for now & buying a 300 gig raptor for win7 & then buying a bigger storage drive.Kinda fun but weird having 3 os on 1 machine, kinda Freaky. lol
