Sorry I haven't been in servers much... I've been trying to, but I can't get UT to cooporate when it comes to playin. Downloads never stop; they will continue on well past 100%. Any file I download from the internet is corrupt. Not sure what to do.

I know it sux, but maybe a re-install of UT would help. Make sure you download the latest patch. I know if you have the wrong patch, you cannot connect to the server. I would first try to download and install the latest patch before a re-install because that could fix the problem and save you the hassle of re-installing UT. You can get the Mega pack here which includes the latest patch 3369.

I will definitely check into that, but I fear the problem is beyond the UT software. Everything corrupts while downloading, even outside of UT and it's starting to blue-screen frequently.

sounds like your nic might be dying (hopefully not the whole mobo). My brother's pc did that with a really old wireless card. When it was in, it bsod'd, out was just fine.

try this run msconfig and disable all start up crap that run in the back ground and then go from there there maybe a corrupt start-up file or some bug thats screwing with you!
