Yeah, pretty cool. It's called Free Running or Parkour in French, who invented it. Very European hip.

And it seems like a very French invention too. As a people, they seem to gravitate towards the loner-hero kind of sports, from Tour de Lance (sry, couldn't resist) to the Vendee Globe, single-handed round the world sailboat race.

The Vendee Globe happens once every four years. I've followed the four races since it's inception. High adventure doesn't adequately describe the life and death stories. A good introduction to this race is a book by Dick Lundy called Godforsaken Sea.
