I really need help to set up pipe switc binds.

I would GREATLY appreciate anyone who could could walk me thru step by step. i dont know the first thing about seting up a pipe switch im not sure eaxcatly what .ini file i need to be in and where exactly in that file that i need to make my changes.i know you guys dont wanna hold my hand and walk me thru it but im at that point in the game when i need to get scrolling and use binds so please i would appreciate any help. thank you!!

Your weapons are all numbered by default. To pipeswitch just open your "UT2004" folder..then open "System" folder..there you will find "user.ini" Open the user.ini with notepad and scroll untill you find the key you wish to bind to.

A pipeswitch bind will look like this" Enter=pipedSwitchWeapon 9 | pipedSwitchWeapon 4' This binds my "enter" key to lightning gun and shock rifle.

Mouse5=SwitchWeapon 4 | pipedswitchweapon 9
Mouse4=SwitchWeapon 7 | pipedswitchweapon 8

PipedSwitchWeapons This will toggle between two predefined weapons whenever the key is pressed. To change the weapons it selects, enter a different number:

0 = Super Weapons
1 = Shield Gun
2 = Assault Riffle
3 = Bio Rifle
4 = Shock Rifle
5 = Link Gun
6 = MiniGun
7 = Flak Cannon
8 = Rocket Launcher
9 = Lightning Rifle

Key=pipedswitchweapon 8 | pipedswitchweapon 7

=getweapon xweapons.shieldgun | altfire | onrelease switchtolastweapon

is my fav...

switches to shield (not shield gun), then when you let go it goes back to whatever weapon you were using before..great when you are low on health and need some health...or if you see some rockets coming across the map...
